Like my mother once told me, everything has its time and place...even for things like success! Well this little article I dedicate to the ladies. As kitch and cliche this may sound the numbers of powerful women in this world are not enough. It is ofcourse our life long dream to become what we want to be but the question is are we 100% driven? Is a constant craving just enough? From quite a number of observations I have come to a conclusion that it is not enough; cravings and longings without enough dedication, persistance and determination may just fade like your favourite 2 second dreams. Honestly, I, myself am not the perfect kind to talk. Alot of obstacles come our way to try prevent us from getting where we want to be in the form of issues, and this could be any kind, nothing specific and as women there are times where we just crack easily and break down. In life that will always be the case but luckily for us, God created us to be strong and become a living proof that yes the down trodden will always rise up to be the best! The other day, I forcefully did some celebrity research on women such as Bonang Matheba, Minenhle Dlamini and Nonhle Thema [ Out of interest I have attached a video of Minenhle at SA FashionWeek just as an inspirational example of how far one can get even if you may never appear of television, it is good to set ones OWN example]. Now each of these ladies have a bit of a contraversial side to them but the ignorance that the back of our minds posses refuse us to see the more positive side of things. Yes, we all have had our oppinions about each of them but have we ever taken a step back to realise that their succes was not just purely based on luck? Did you honestly think that they were just magically placed on tv and onto success with a click of a button? Obviously not. Things like these take hard work without any excuses for being who you are or who they are. It is one quality that makes them inspirational...not to be a well known socialite but rather a socialite with a future, almost like djs (no offence) how many want to be one and how many actually make it? Back up will always be your plan A, B and C! But my point is Im trying to get through to women to make them realise that your career should always be your number 1 priority espcially when you're young, the time is now and it is vital because you only get it ONCE. Not all of us were destined to be married to rich blokes because they too get moments of struggle...then next thing you know *cricket sounds and whistling*. I firmly believe that women from any background deserve to live a full proper life full of splurges reaped from hard worked earnings with no excuses for being who you are because haters are just to here to entertain.
